QKR Stampede Challenge #241

Can you believe it's the last Friday of April already???  It's also time for a new challenge at QKR Stampede and our optional twist this week is "Wheels".  I chose Train for my image, colored with copics, lots of gold wink of stella, glossy accents for the light on top, and hickory smoke distress ink.  I cut it out with Lawn Fawn large stitched oval, mat cut on the Cameo, and banners by hand.  Travel paper by The Paper Studio, train blueprint from Tim Holtz Destination pad, black cs and kraft paper from my stash.  I stamped the kraft paper with versa mark ink and steampunk embossing folder on the back cs.

QKR Stampede Challenge #240

It's Friday and you know what that means...a new challenge at QKR Stampede!  This week our optional twist is "Feathered Friends" and I chose Floating.  I imported him into Silhouette Studio to print and cut out.  He is colored with copics and mounted with foam tape.  The sentiments are from Inner Tube Birdbrain  at From The Heart Stamps.  I printed the them in studio so I could erase part of them.  The waves are from Birds Cards, the sun is a silhouette shape stamped with a Peachy Keen Stamp for the face, brad and ribbon from my stash.  Pink cloud paper was a freebie from Mein Lila Park, green and yellow cs by The Paper Studio, and pearl white Bazzill for the waves.

Branden's Birthday

Today's card is for my nephew's birthday.  This adorable image is called "Hamlet Pigwit Cold Suds" and he lives at From The Heart Stamps!  The layout is for their i{heart} Sketch.  I colored him with copics, puff paint for the foam on the beer, and glossy accents on the beer mug, bottles, and ice cubes.  CS from Hobby Lobby and DP from The Paper Studio Basics pad.  Red candy dots I melted from perler beads and ribbon from my stash.

QKR Stampede Challenge #239

Our challenge this week at QKR Stampede is ATG with optional twist Flowers.  I chose Butterfly & Bluebonnets, since the bluebonnets are in full bloom here in Texas!  I colored them with copics, cut out with The Stamps of Life large stitched circle die, and matted with SB large scalloped die.  The layout is for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #207.  Papers are Bo Bunny blueberry double dot, Recollections yellow chevron, and yellow cs from my stash.  White trim from Michael's, colored blue to match, Martha Stewart butterfly punch, Stampin' Up! beautiful wings die, and gems by Recollections.

Katie's Birthday

Today's card is for my niece's 18th birthday...not sure how she got to be that age already!  I chose "girl cupcake" from Bugaboo Stamps.  I couldn't find her in the store so maybe she's been retired.  I colored her with copics, clear wink of stella on the icing, and glossy accents on the cherry.  The layout is for Stella Says Sketch #507.  Purple cs from Hobby Lobby,  Bo Bunny limeade double dot, flower dp from DCWV The Glitter Mat Stack, and striped paper from American Crafts The Color of Memories.  Fiskars scalloped border punch and gems from The Paper Studio.

Amy's Birthday Card

Today's card is for my friends birthday!  A group of us are going to the casino to celebrate and I thought this image would be the perfect!  The image is called Slot Machine Birdbrain by From The Heart Stamps.  I colored her with copics, glam pink stickles for eye shadow, copper stickles on the pennies, yellow stickles for the light rays, gold wink of stella on the crown, 1 cent, and dollar sign.  The layout is i{heart} Sketch #168.   I used Lawn Fawn large stitched square to cut her out.  The waves were  peppermint candy clip art that I imported into Silhouette Studio, modified, and cut out.  Striped paper is from Doodlebug Designs Hello Sunshine 6x6 pad and the rest is Bo Bunny dots.  Googly eyes from my stash and sentiment printed from Silhouette Studio.
